Preview your outputs
Take the guesswork out of data delivery
With Codex’s integrated Preview function, you can take the guesswork out of managing application data across several catalogues.
Our preview feature reveals some of the magic behind the scenes. Every time we deliver your data to a third-party catalogue, we perform the data integrity checks that are required by the third-party. The preview feature gives you immediate visibility on these checks so you can adjust your data accordingly before hitting publish.

What if I have outputs to multiple destinations?
This is where Codex shines. While your data is maintained centrally against one index, the preview feature shows you how that data will be delivered against as many different indexes as you require. So you can immediately see how "BMW 1 Series M140i" will be translated, whether that's for TecDoc or MAM.

How does Codex handle engine parts?
We understand engine parts manufacturers don't talk in terms of models and series. You know the engine your parts fit into, and we know which cars that engine appears in. So you can maintain your data against an engine within Codex, with the preview feature showing you how that will translate into passenger cars when delivered.

Third-party catalogues like MAM and TecDoc have very stringent requirements, how is that handled?
We've built highly advanced data checks over the past five years. We run them on your data when you hit preview and when we send the full data to your required target catalogue. This gives you full visibility on any rejections and an ability to make immediate corrections if you spot a mistake.
